So, I thought I owed ya'll an update. You are a captive audience after all. I didn't realize it had been so long since I had updated, mostly because life is just going along quite well and free of major roadbumps.

Thune and I secured the church and reception hall (Luther Memorial at Grand View and Capitol Room East Village down town) for August 2nd 2008. So, save the date. I havent decided whether I'm going to send out save the date cards, mostly because I dont know if I want to go to the trouble. But, maybe it'll happen. Depends upon how creative I get with my computer and how much I'm really dedicated to the cause. Regardless, we've already bought invitations, so those will definetly be sent out. Just not until next year. Consider yourselves warned and informed.

Work is going along quite well. Just chugging along, I suppose. Not a lot new there, just a few new people. One is a guy that I went to college (graduated and started with freshman year) so it's pretty fun to have him around. I'm finally at the point where I feel confident in what I'm doing. Of course there is the occasional slip up in regards to calling the wrong doctor and getting yelled at, but I guess that goes with the territory.

Thune is enjoying (think tolerating) school. Life with him is actually quite great, not that I didnt have full faith in us making it living together. I just though it might be harder to adjust than it was. Turns out I was being a nervous nelly after all. I love living with him, it's great and convenient and pretty darn awesome. I don't get to see him a lot during the week though, so sometimes it can be a bit tough.

Anyhow, I suppose that's really all. We're contemplating getting a cat, mainly because I want one. I think it's the next logical step in our relationship, no? In between getting married and eventually (not soon, please don't anyone get excited) having a kid. Gotta be able to make an animal survive before a child, no?
