Saturday 4 pm, Luther Memorial Church (On Grand View's Campus) 1201 Grandview Avenue

Reception: 6 pm (apparently you guys cant get in there until roughly straight up 6) Capitol Room downtown, 315 East Fifth Street

Lots of booze, lots of people, lots of music...lots of good food :) Be there :)

For those of you counting: 6 days until the wedding. For those of you not counting, I get married in a few days :)

I'm starting to get excited. Mainly because of what a great time it'll be, and the people that we get to see come up for the wedding. Also for the fact that it seems like I've waited a lifetime to marry my best friend. The person that I have absolutely no doubt I'm meant to be with for the rest of my days. Mushy stuff aside, it's going to be grand. And a lot of work, as I hear marriage isn't as easy as everyone seems to think it is. Yay work.

Anyhow, that's really all. I work today (Sunday) and then Tuesday and I'm off for the rest of the time, and for a week after the wedding. Yay to vacations. Then in December we take our honeymoon to the Domincan Republic, Puerto Plata at an all inclusive resort. Which I'm WAY excited to have come around, especially when it's december and icky in Iowa.

18 days away and my name officially changes. CRAZY......

The stress is still about the same level, trying to make sure that everyone is on the same page is a touch difficult. But, we're making it.

Presents have started coming in the mail, and I think that we FINALLY have the final count for the RSVP's. Lets just hope we dont get any more RSVP's for 7 (yes-7) from one family that we dont even know. Yay.

This weekend is my bachelorette party, so I'm quite sure that it'll be a blast. We got a hotel for the weekend downtown, so no one has to drive. A bunch of people from work are coming, as well as friends and my bridal party (and even my mom and grandma) so it ought to be an interesting, hilarious time.

I suppose that's really about it. Farrell's is going really well. At week 5 (last week) I'd lost 9 pounds, 5 inches off of my body. And...people are starting to notice. I had them take in my wedding dress a half inch on each side just to be sure that it'll fit when I do my final fitting on the 25th.

So that "stress is semi starting to build" is over. Now it's just really starting to build. I'm glad that I handle stress well-because goodness sakes is it tough. The little things (that when added together equal big things) are starting to get annoying. Nothing big yet to deal with, just minute details. I guess the only sort of big thing would be dealing with RSVP's and tracking people down that haven't responded yet. Seriously people, July 1st means July 1st. Now I get to stalk, call, email, etc to find out who's coming. For shame my friends/family/acquaintances, and yes because Amy is such a well loved individual, complete strangers. I know a good chunk of the guest list, but some of them-I have no idea, and neither does Thune.

And don't even get me started on my soon-to-be-husband and his lack of getting his groomsmen motivated to get their tuxes fitted and ordered. UGh....He's literally still on the fence about the last groomsman, if he's coming or not. He says he's got a "seventh stringer" lined up if that guy bails. STRESS...I think so. I'm fighting the bridezilla urge, mainly because he stresses me out :)

So...I have my first dress fitting this Thursday. I held off until now because I'm in week 4 of Farrell's and I've changed some. I realize I'll change more, but hopefully they can negotiate to go an extra inch or so in to accomadate the changes that are still yet to happen. It's a tough program, but the motivation that I needed to get going.

Anyhow, that's really all. Invites for the bachelorette party will be going out. It's July 19th, but as I said they'll be going out tomorrow I believe. Take care, and love you all :) G'day!!
