A Peak at My Life

Life is a journey, and this is the story of mine.

So....we leave for vacation tomorrow, and come back on Monday. We're going to a resort north of branson missouri with some friends of ours. They have a timeshare and they're renting a condo/house thing for the weekend. We're pretty excited, because that means I'm off work until Wednesday. After the weeks I've been having here at the hospital, I'm greatly looking forward to it. Spring break=short of staff and apparently no one to cover at all. So it's been ridiculous, and I've been super stressed and overworked here. UGh...

And, the Friday after we come back we sign on the house. Then that weekend, we move. This week I spent putting together our wedding invitation (think printed, put ribbon ties on, addressed return envelopes, and stuffed the big envelopes) 200 times. Thune, as he puts it "Helped." Meaning he printed the addresses onto the stickers. So glad he helped...not :) We'll be sending those out as soon as we move and get all of the address...AHEM..Mom2...I need a few. Check your email :)

So...life is pretty busy. I like it that way, but this week has seemed pretty unbearable. A lot of stuff left to do before the move, and yet more stuff to do for the wedding before that rolls around.

Hope you all have a good weekend, and hopefully I'll have some fun pictures from our little getaway. Love ya'll :) G'day

Life has a way of always being interesting, I do suppose.

So, my birthday came and went. And with it one mild hangover (yes, mild). Drink offers free drinking for the birthday individuals as long as you bring three friends. So...needless to say we had a pretty darn good time. I've been drinking a lot less lately, like only once in the last month and a half or so, and I like it. A more mature stance on alcohol, I will say.

The house stuff is rolling on. I think we're going to move the weekend after we sign (March 29th-30th). Hopefully all goes as planned.

In other news: we found out that combining our insurance policies for car insurance saves me about $700 dollars in 6 months, which of course the insurance company didn't tell us. We'd been using the same company all along and paying a lot more than we should have. Leave it to corporate america, I suppose.

That's really about all, I guess. Birthdays, moving, working, wedding, etc. Thune's working on getting a job, thank the lord. Enough said-g'night all :)
